Making These Blogging Mistakes?

Are Blogging Mistakes Costing You?

Are YOU making the following mistakes that could be costing you in your blogging business?

Mistake #1: “Blogging For Dollars”

Some of the most profitable blogs are the ones that focus on growing a community in a niche market for people to come together, read your ideas, and share their own. I don’t know anyone who goes to a blog with the intent to buy “anything”.

So why then do the most profitable blogs rarely have anything to do with the blogger him or herself making money?

Because they focus on solving their READERS and subscribers problems.

Do this, and the people will be much more inclined to buy something from you. Actually, just about anything, in order to reward you for the value you consistently put out on your blog.

Mistake #2: “The Infamous Get-Rich-Quick Scheme”

Anyone can start a blog. Nothing special about that. So why do people think starting a blog is a license to print money?

It’s not. Continue reading »

Some Twitter Basics To Increase Followers Part II

Some Twitter Basics To Increase Followers Part II

Last time, we discussed some fundamentals they included:

  • Fill out your profile completely
  • Add your twitter profile to twitter directories
  • Promote yourself
  • Make your follows count
  • Tweet content that is worthy
  • Tweet on a regular basis

Let’s move on with some additional essentials that will surely increase your followers.

INTERACT AND ENGAGE YOUR AUDIENCE

While it is important to tweet regularly throughout the day, it is equally important to interact with your audience as well.  If you don’t interact with your audience, you’re simply nothing more than a broadcaster of information.  Being a broadcaster of information isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but it’s not entirely a good thing as well.  Remember, you’re building relationships with people.  In order to build relationships with people, you must Continue reading »

Some Twitter Basics to Increase Followers- Part I

Some Twitter Basics To Increase Followers- Part I

This is a two part article.  I originally committed to use Twitter for 60 days… after 30 days I noticed a 30% uptick in my blog traffic.  After some consideration, I concluded that is was related to the fact that I was Tweeting every time I post a new blog entry. It seemed to have a viral effect.  For that reason, I though it would be a good idea to re-visit some fundamentals that should increase your Follower count.

FILL OUT YOUR PROFILE COMPLETELY

One of the biggest mistakes that I see is also one of the most basic and overlooked ones.  An incomplete or sloppy profile can often result in dramatically less followers.  Here is what you can do to prevent that.

All You Need Is An Affiliate Store?

Affiliate_MarketingAll you need is a store….

Is the approach many affiliates seem to take – regrettably that is very far from the truth. There are literally millions of failed affiliate stores out there… BUT the stores that are successful all have one thing in common…

The got their keyword and niche research right!

Fortunately doing so is quite easy, when you follow these steps…

Focus On A Single Niche

Don’t try to build a store that will be all things to all people. If you are promoting all sorts of niches in one store people might as well just search on Amazon and bypass you completely. Continue reading »

Amazon Affiliate Marketing Part II

Amazon Affiliate Marketing Part IIAffiliate Marketing Products Part II

In part one, we talked about reasons why you want to consider selling and marketing Amazon products over (or at least in addition to) digital products, in this article installment I’m going to reveal a very simple plan to take advantage of the Amazon system to earn commissions.

First, you need a good product to promote. Ideally, you want to stick with high-ticket products like vacuum cleaners or designer shoes. Stick with the “Over $100” rule. The only time you want to sell products LESS than $100 is to boost commission percentage from 4% to 6.5%. Sell 20 “Under $100” items fast for the bigger commission payments.

Second, go through Amazons database and find a product to sell that is popular and has at LEAST 5 more similar products to promote. Continue reading »

AffiliateAffiliate Marketing: Physical Products

Are you a struggling affiliate marketer looking for that lucky break you keep hearing about that happens to some successful online marketers? Then this article may just be for you…

But there’s a catch.

For most successful marketers, there was nothing “lucky” about their success. It didn’t just fall into their lap one day, and it wasn’t necessarily hard work and determination.

It was method. It was skill. It was strategy.

All of which anyone can use to make money online for themselves and provide a lifestyle for their family.

Going forward over these next two articles you’ll discover this isn’t your typical “write articles, do pay-per-click, or build a list of subscribers” (all of which aren’t a bad way to start)!

I’m not going to talk about making a fortune on clickbank.  This is certainly still an option but this is something a little different. Continue reading »
