How To Choose The Right JV Partner
One of the most common questions people have about the JV marketing business is how do they choose a good JV partner to work with. There are a lot of people out there building lists, so anyone who has an offer to promote would have many people that they could potentially work with. However, not all of them are created equal, so you need to understand the simple formula you can use to determine whether or not you should work with a particular JV partner.
The first thing you need to consider when looking at a potential partner to work with is the size of their list. Someone who has a list of just 600 people may not be the best person to work with initially. Usually the smaller the list is the lower the number of sales will be. While this isn’t always true, looking at the list size of the person in question is a great way to rank and start the selection process.
Besides the list size, you also need to consider the responsiveness of the list. Some JV partners have huge lists of ten thousand, twenty thousand, or even fifty thousand people or more. However, if only 1% of these people are actually buying a product then the impressive list size stops being so impressive. On the other end of the spectrum, you may find somebody with a list of only 2000 people, but his list may be far more responsive and 10% of them may actually buy an offer that he recommends.
